  • Cleared CSIR-UGC (NET) in Mathematical Sciences which determines the eligibility for Lectureship / Assistant Professor in Indian universities and colleges (2010) .

  • Achieved the status of "Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA)", UK in recognition of attainment against the UK Professional Standards Framework (UKPSF) for teaching and learning support in higher education  (2020).

  • As an Assistant Professor at Nalla Malla Reddy Engineering College (2007 - 2009), I was solely responsible for teaching three undergraduate engineering courses:

        1.  Engineering Mathematics-I (Computer Science & Engineering Graduates)
        2. Mathematical Methods (Mechanical Engineering Graduates)
        3. Probability & Statistics (Information Technology Graduates)

     

  • I also offered a short term course on GRE (Graduate Record Exam), which helped students to improve their analytical skills and securing admissions in named universities for their higher studies.

Experience with VLE's and Training

Canvas is the current VLE platform at Heriot-Watt University, UK from fall 2021 to support teaching and learning of modules and courses. The Canvas VLE is a key tool for delivering teaching and learning resources to support face-to-face and live online teaching. you will access it frequently throughout your course to:

  • Deliver and access learning resources including reading lists and course work.

  • Create and participate in learning activities.

  • Set and submit assignments.

  • Give and receive feedback and marks.

  • Communicate with students, peers and lecturers.

  • Access your timetable.

Vision (Blackboard) is the VLE platform at HWU till summer 2021 and from September 2021 it is replaced by  Canvas VLE which is a modern and user-friendly.  Both facilitates, technology enhanced learning and teaching by providing an online platform for both staff and students. Canvas is a key tool for delivering teaching and learning resources to support face-to-face and live online teaching including assessments. It enables you to:

  • Create and deliver courses materials

  • Deliver and access learning resources

  • Create and participate in learning activities such as quizzes, group discussions

  • Set and take surveys

  • Create, receive and submit assignments

  • Communicate with students, peers and lecturers

  • Track progress, marking and grades
